The BIEA’s Well Being project led by Dr Freda Nkirote M’Mbogori in collaboration with Professor Paul Lane (University of Cambridge) aims to understand the history, biocultural heritage and social value of wells used by pastoralists in northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia https://www.biea.ac.uk/wellsproject/
Funded by the British Academy the project also aims to demonstrate the value and viability of community archaeology for supporting sustainable development.
