The Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) is an initiative of the Refugee Studies Centre at the University of Oxford. Founded in October 2020, it empowers individuals with lived experience of forced displacement to become leaders in research and to access and succeed in graduate-level education and meaningful employment. Researchers with displacement backgrounds lead both primary and secondary studies aimed at influencing policy and practice, including projects on refugee-led organizations in East Africa and access to citizenship in Kenya. The project has received funding from Ikea foundation, Open Society Foundation and other entities. BIEA hosts the RLRH at its hub in Laikipia Road, Nairobi, provides administrative support and occasionally collaborates on joint activities or events.

See RLRH website for information and updates.
